Must be the Duramax/Allison as I get 12 to 13 and it just seems to get better the longer I have it. Haven't checked in ahile so I could be over 13.

I'm getting 11.5-12.8 with my Ford towing 14,360 lbs (22,920 truck and FW). I've found the extra couple of thousand pounds makes a considerable difference in mileage. Our 2880RL was 11,500 lbs. If I reset the trip computer while we are at cruise speed and just let it sit there for ten miles or so with no significant hills or wind it will show close to 15 mpg. But I don't quote those numbers because they don't include real world stops, starts, wind, hills, etc. I assume everyone else is using the real trip numbers, too.

Welcome to MOC! I am certain you will enjoy being a part of the forum.

ChadBrooks,
We get 14 mpg towing our 327RKS at 70 mph. We tow with a 2005 Dodge 2500 HD CTD (610). Around town and going down the road we get between 20 and 26 mpg (about 22 mpg at 75 mph solo). It's not just the Duamax/Allison setups getting the good fuel mileage. And, people tell me it will only get better.

God Bless America,
Jeff Heiser
