No Propane from Right ( Door Side Tank)
IM not able to get propane from the right side tank when turning the control valve from left tank to right tank? Could this be a due to a bad regulator? yes both tank valves are open.

First thing to do is, turn off both tanks, remove the hose connections from both tanks, re-install the hose connections to both tanks, then SLOWLY!! open the tank valve on the tanks. This is important, as there is a check valve built into the hose assemblies that will seriously slow down the flow of gas if you open the valve too fast. The valve will lock up if it thinks there is a break in the line, which can be caused by opening a valve too fast

Also is it the door side or the opposite door side tank?

Thanks, I'll use that procedure to see if I can get propane from the Door side tank. If that doesn't do work could the small regulator be bad? I have never used the door side tank until last week when the driver side went empty.

It's the trailer door side tank. It has a small (red regulator).

If the slowly opening the valve doesn't work and you're problem is with the red regulator side, it may be defective. Had that happen to us when I couldn't get the main one to pull from that side unless the other tank was empty. These things aren't that expensive to replace though.

Those regulators do fail.

Had a similar problem. Thought it was the regulator and found after replacing the regulator, it was actually the short hose from the tank to the regulator. $14 part vs $95 part. Took off the short hose, Tried blowing air through it, nothing. There is a check valve in it, which apparently had frozen. Now I own two regulators!

My regulator was bad brand new. leaked like crazy. I could smell propane and I used soapy water to test. Instant bubbles from the edge all the way around. Replaced for $15, and no more leaks.
