Incoming 30 PSI Gas Valve

On my recent trip to Upper Indiana smelled a Propane leak, on my pretrip inspection.
Went the whole trip w/out gas, had to use the Electric on the Hot water, and ran the Refrig on Electric also, w/ the help of ice in the cooler.
Got back home found out w/a leak detector the Red 30 PSI Valve was leaking out the vent hole.
Replaced it for under $25.00 myself, all is sealed up tight now.
RV is just 4 years old, how long do these usually last ?

Certain years have had problems with that valve. Apparently some were defective.

Replaced it on my '07 after about 4 years.

My 07 lasted about 4 years also.

replaced mine this last winter along with the hose.
