Electric hookup
Is there a downside to using a 110v extension cord to supply power to coach over winter? Using adapters to attach to 50 amp cord.
Mike
PS; Just keeping the battery's charged.

Depends on how many amps you intend on using. If it's just to power the converter to trickle charge the batteries, I don't see why not.

Only concern would be if you are planning to run electric heaters. If so just make sure you do not exceed the rating of the extension cord, and I would get a heavy duty cord.
If just to keep battery charged and minimal other uses there would be no problem.

Get a better made in china extension, as I think they are all made there. Oxidation in the connectors and oxidation creep up the wire is the danger as well as using undersized gauge. It all amounts to resistance which equals heat and reduced capacity. John

Heavy cord, shorter the better.

If it is just to keep the battery charged, and perhaps some lights, no problem at all. Don't go beyond that though.

Agree with above. Our old camper had a 30 amp cord. Between the adapter and the outlet I used a heavy duty air conditioner or appliance extension cord. Even so, the lugs had evidence of overheating. For our Monty I installed a dedicated 50 amp pedestal as I became paranoid about an electrical fire from the old cords.

I also put in a fifty amp box at home. The big problem when using 110 was how hot the darn cord would get, just charging the batteries.

I use an extension cord with a trickle charger all the time to keep the battery charged.
