Any Bassett Hound parents here?

Hi All,
Just wondering who all has basset hounds? How long have you had them? Do you travel with them? and the big question would you rescue a basset hound even if you never has one? By the way I love all animals and I try to rescue all but my heart belongs to bassets. Have had bassets for over 30 years. I do travel with Daisy Mae and Willy Bee.

We have a basset, a PBGV. They are a small, 32 pound long hired, 3 inch, basset from France. Not quite like yours but still a basset hound.

We have an eleven year old tri color Basset named Bentley and he loves camping. Getting tough for him to get up and down stairs.

No basset here. But we did have a rotten lab. She had two knee surgeries. Finally needed to make a ramp for her. 3/4 in plywood ripped in half. stapled rugs to it for traction. Could go thinner if you put 1x2 strips lengthwise. Ours was about 80 pounds
