great, what state are we talking about?? I am guessing Georgia, since you list that wonderful state as your home state.

We have just made reservations for May 8--May 13, at St. Andrews. We have been camping there (and at Ft. Pickens) for over 40 years. We will be in site 108 in the Pinegrove camp area.

padredw, we will miss you by a few days. We are leaving around the 1st of May. We will go back to Ga. for a month then plan on making a trip west, hopefully if all goes well to Alaska.
We are on site 1 at St. Andrews. We have hosted here for 5 years. We enjoy this park very much. We also have camped at Ft. Pickens, but have not been there since the storm. I heard they did not survive it well.

rvfirefighter:
My wife (short with gray-hair) and I (tall with gray hair)--met you at St. Andrews on March 1, just after you got set up. We were talking to you about Ken and his wife and Adrian. We were there until Mar. 4. Good to see you posting on the Forum--I don't do much posting, just read a lot. Enjoy your stay there--we go back in June but guess you will be gone by then.
Have a good trip to Alaska.
Ron and Mavis

We were looking for a park to host in near Panama City next winter.
Can you recommend St. Andrews, and can you give me a contact person?

Ron, good to have met you and your wife, hope you enjoyed S.A.S.P. It is a very nice park, especially for Campers. The view and staying on the water is hard to beat. We definitely enjoy it and hope to be here each year.
Steve, I highly recommend the park but good luck getting in to host for the winter. They have volunteers that have been hosting for 20+ years. You need to contact Debra Walker, she is the volunteer co-ordinator. You never know, each year is different.
