Lesley, you can find the towing capacity on http://www.gmc.com/sierra/specsDimension.jsp and the weight on Keystones.

Lesley,

Can't help you with the GMC. Just wanted to welcome you to the forum and compliment you on a great choice of rv.

Lesley, since there have been no replies from those with actual experience with that engine maybe I can help just a little. The folks I've talked with who have towed fifthwheels with that engine (that's the 454, right?) say it has enough power but tends to heat up going up long hills. They solved the problem by adding cooling capacity. Make sure you have a good towing axle ratio also. I don't know what rear ends those trucks come with but I'd recommend at least 3.73 or numerically higher (lower ratio). If towing mostly on relatively flat lands you might not need to worry about the cooling. This is only what I've been told by others, not personal experience.

Welcome to the forum. Don't hesitate to ask all questions. Hopefully we'll have better answers for you on other questions.
