Ti Vo owners
Hi guys,
Have any of you found an EASY way to eliminate commercials?
I get thoroughly confused reading their "easy" setup instructions.
Thanks,
Dummy Jim

Jim,
I don't think you can eliminate the commercials. I just fast forward through them.

I thought you were supposed to be able to eliminate commercials somehow. I don't have a TiVo, but I though I had heard this?

I have not found a way to eleminate the commercials. This is the bread and butter for the TV stations. Using TiVo or taping a program, the best way is just "FAST FORWARD" thru it. Just think, Just the push of the Button. I love all these neat new ideas. Have a Good Day Richard

Hi All,
I wonder if there's a difference in the TiVo boxes. Our's is a Direct TV box. I also thought I read, that it would skip the Com. when recording, but I haven't been able to getter done. We've had ours for a year now and love it. Perhaps the other box manufactures have the ability of not recording the com.
I know there were several manufactures of the boxes and Direct used to ship whatever thay had at the time of your order. Now I believe there up to speed in making there own Direct TV boxes, so that's what you get now when ordering.
Just a thought.
Happy Camping
