2020 3561, oven wont light

Tried the oven for the first time and it wont light, like it has no gas. The stove top burners are working and light right away. Hate to make a 90 mile trip if it something I can fix.

Greg I googled “how to light Furion oven” and several videos come up. Hate to say it but we have not been out in our unit since Christmas but I asked DW if our oven had the auto spark oven lighter or if I had to bend over and manually light pilot light with a lighter. She said it has spark lighter - first RV oven we have had with spark light pilot. I do remember that I always light all burners on the stove top and let them run for a few seconds to purge the system so that other propane appliances will light better (furnace and on-demand water heater in my unit). I suppose that is a habit I developed long ago - not sure it is required by Furrion...but it seems to work for me. You might stick a lighter in there and heat up the thermocoupler then hold the pilot knob and try the spark lighter again. Ours always seems to work.

Ours does have a spark lighter and it does spark. I made sure that the stove top would light so gas is flowing.

Thought I would try here first to make sure I am not doing something stupid or missed something before I call the manufacturer, 90 miles to take it to the dealer.

You can ask Montana for warranty authorization to use a mobile repairman. Also remember it does not need to go back to the selling dealer. Would also recommend calling Furion customer service - they may be able to help over the phone.

I discovered that lighting the oven is a bit tricky compared to the burners. You need to press and turn the knob to the light position and hold just a bit. This give the pilot time to light in response to the spark. After that you can turn the knob to the 350 position and the burner should then come on in response to the pilot. The system has to prove that the pilot is on just a bit b4 sending fuel to the main oven burner.

What year did they switch to the spark ignitor for the oven pilot? I have the old style on my 2012. It's a PITA pushing the knob in while down on the floor holding a BBQ lighter on the pilot till the temp sensor senses heat and open the pilot gas valve..
