When the folks head down to Los Algadones, Mexico, do you park on our side and walk across or take your vehicles down there? Just need to know if I need to look at insurance Thanks.
Jack

Jack,
When we go to Algadones we park on the US side of the border. There is a huge parking lot just a block or so from the border. And I understand now that there is a casino there too. Much of the land in this area belongs to a group of Native Americans.

See you soon.

Well Robbie looks like we still won't get to meet this year at least at Q anyway! Q came in second place! We are going to be celebrating out 25th year together in January and we decided to take a trip to New Zealand and Australia during January this year instead of heading for Q. Hopefully we will eventually make it to Q and get to meet up with you and your smiling bride!

Well darn, maybe we can get together before the 50th! Have a great trip, we'll still be living in the RV fulltime when you get back from New Zealand and Australia.

Thanks Dennis,
I really didn't want to drive our TV down there anyway. I have done enough driving in foreign countries to at least know that!!!

WE were in Algodones yesterday. The prudent thing to do would be to pay the $5 and park in the indian lot. Everything you probably need is within a 3-4 block area. Don't forget your passport or passport card so you can get out.

Will we be having anything scheduled like a pot luck dinner, wine and cheese night or any other planned function.
We just want to know what to plan to bring.

Ron & Rose,
There are few if any things scheduled ahead but you can rest assured that there will be at least one potluck or more. We spend so much time doing nothing that was planned that it's hard to fit everthing in.

Ron & Rose,
There usually is a pot luck dinner while everyone is there and there is always a 5:00 cocktail party where goodies are shared.

Robbie,
Other than;
Arrive when you want
Leave when you want
Get up sometime during the day-optional
Go to bed sometime-optional

What else is there?

Oh I suppose we have to eat sometime too.

We plan on doing some Geocaching while we are there. I was thinking of putting something together when we get down there for those that are interested. If you are not familiar with Geocaching, it is basically a scavenger hunt. You can go to geocaching.com to learn more about it. If interested, all you will need is a handheld GPS to enter the coordinates of the caches you will be looking for. I will have all of the caches in the area loaded into my GPS so you can get them from me if you don't preload them ahead of time. If you don't have a GPS, that's OK to because you can just come along and join in on the hunt with the others. But beware, as some people can get addicted to this.

If anyone needs a replacement speaker for their Montana I have a couple from mine that you can have for a $10 each donation to the Club. I will bring them down if you let me know ahead of time. I am leaving Surrey B.C. on Jan. 13th. I have 3 good speakers and the sub.
