Smoke/propane/carbon monoxide Detectors

One thing we often overlook is the detectors on our trailers. I went to replace the batteries in my carbon monoxide detector the other day and noticed that it had an end of life sticker dated 2017. This caused me to start checking the propane and smoke detectors all of which were end of life. I ordered all three items and will be installing them next week before we head out for summer outings.

Effective life on all three detectors is 5-7 years per most manufacturers and $70 is nothing compared to any potential loss of life.

Be safe everyone and have a good summer.
