Yes and no. Many years ago, I think highways were built as level and straight as possible and then someone noted these roads tended to induce lethargy and even drowsiness. Curves, hills were either left in as nature provided or built in. The sections of #2 through North Dakota and west seemed to be the most problematic. And the consequences of sleep deprived truckers, speeders and drinkers have not gone away, either. My original suggestion, I think, was for RV'ers on this section to enjoy themselves but to drive even more defensively than usual. Stop signs on roads entering #2 seemed to be frequently ignored (we saw this) and most of the crosses along the route seemed to be at intersections.

Thats awesome,was planing that same trip across rte 2 myself in a couple yrs to go to glacier np.
