Us going to Hualpai, it’s a county park above Kingman AZ. Was going to go up on the 20th but it snowed last night and is set to do the same tonight. Soooo moved it to Wednesday the 22nd.

It’s still going to be in the 50s yes I know but that is cold to us here in Arizona.

We are staying home as usual due to everyone in the world goes out that first weekend. Same with most other major holidays during the summer. We either go before or after holidays to avoid all the people and crowds. Now that we are retired we avoid these times. In Oregon, too much of the time the weather is not good on Memorial weekend. Usually rains at the coast and is too cool in the mountains.

Thanks, jealous here! Your plans sounds good to me. Now if I could telepathically transport my 11,000 lb rig and 6500 lb truck to AZ. My dear wife has accused me of being weak minded at times so we won't be joining in. Does sound good though.

Regards,
Soggy on the Red Red River

We love Clio, but not usually during a holiday. Being retired lets us go early and late in the season. Have a great time.

Sitting comfortably overlooking the 6th Great Lake (Champlain) on our new and much larger seasonal site. We can actually see the lake now We will also be planning our upcoming late summer trip to Atlantic Canada.

Home for the holiday. Travel afterwards. Retirement is awesome.

Love those 6 toed cats and sunset on the beach.
Hoist one or more adult beverages for us

This is our preseason learning about our 5th wheel and preparing for longer trips later in the year. Now I am trying to get our grab and go strategy figured out for quick Trips out of town on weekends while DW finishes her work life.

Thanks for sharing all these great Memorial day plans.
From soggy Texas, 16 of the first 20 weekends it has rained for us.
