Upgrading brakes
Hey everyone,
After reading reviews and getting input from here we are going to upgrade to disc brakes as it seems to be much safer.
We are leaning toward having performance trailer braking do the install at our location.
We are also gonna get the 3 cross members installed from them.
Our question....is our current OEM road armour suspension on our rig with the heavy duty wet bolt system a good suspension or should we go with the MORryde cre 3000 suspension/wet bolt system (as trailer performance will also do the suspension at the same time)
Also has anyone had the cross members done and what’s your experience??
We just want to make sure on a few things before we pull the trigger.
The IS system is not an option for us.
I have included a pic of our OEM suspension
Thanks!!

I don't know about the Road Armor but i had the Mor-Ryde LRE 4000 and had problem with the wet bolts breaking. I think the most important thing is to inspect-inspect-inspect.

Agree on the inspect....can you share what you inspect before you head out on a trip
This is our first 5th wheel and we are still learning a lot about it...would love to know if there is anything we are missing that we can add to our check list

We have the Morryde LRE and it works great. I grease the wet bolts every month and I check them before we drive just to make sure it looks right. I disassembled everything this year when we upgraded to discs from performance. We did the install ourselves and I thought it would be good to clean everything and look for weird marks or wear.

Get a new wet bolt kit - If the old are good, save them for later.
