Change to Wet Bolts??
Been lurking here for quite some time. But I do not recall this question: We have the 2006 300RK which is 95% original. There are no wet bolts, simply regular (Grade 8?) bolts in the springs. As we look to do some modest upgrades (and necessary ones), should I be looking to replace the stock (probably original) bolts with wet bolts? TIA for your guidance.

Yes I would do that. I put some on 7-8 years ago and I think it only cost $500 or so at the dealer. Of course much higher now, I am sure.
I think I have read that the sleeves in some rigs shackles are plastic! 2-3 years and they are toast.
Good luck.
Oh and new good tires and definitely tire pressure system if you don't have one already.

I had your same unit. Changed to wet bolts in 09. Did the labor my self. Seems like all the bolts and bushings was right at $100. With a couple of jacks it was a pretty easy job. Before installing insure all the new bolts will take grease. When installing have the grease holes in the bolts at 3:00 and 9:00. Despite what the supplier says the bronze bushings, while lasting better than the plastic, will not last forever. I think mine lasted just over 40K miles.

How do you know when the wet bolts are worn out? Mine are probably pushing 40-45K miles. Just wondered what to be aware of. Thanks

Wet bolts area good thing. Bushings are going to wear out. Wet bolts will give them a longer lifespan.

Be sure to replace the shackles at the same time. I bet your have elongated holes already as the originals are pretty thin. The replacement shackles are much thicker

Mine goes into the dealer next Week to have 6 of the 14 replaced. They wont take grease. I've tried everything I know to do to clear them. Their out of warranty. I've greased them twice in 14 months and they took grease then. This time they wont. Going forward I'll be greasing them every trip out. 
If you're going to upgrade to wet bolts I'd do what Carl said, replace the entire shackle. I'd also drive out the plastic bushings and replace with the bronze bushings. If you can do it yourself it's a bit of work but worth it. You can do one side at a time using a floor jack under each axle and 2 jack stands under the frame.
