It won't matter about the slides. If you have a hydraulic level up system on your fiver ... I'd hook it to the truck as I've never removed pump lines while the fiver is sitting on hydraulic landing gear. It could get dangerous ... however I'd guess the landing gear valving isolates the pump itself while at rest. Even with the slides in or out ... there will be a momentary loss of a minimal amount of fluid due to residual pressure in the system.

remove hydraulic tank

I have a 2013 Montana, wanted to change the hydraulic fluid i intended to put hydraulic fluid with a booster for leak protiction, but realized i had put a gallon of booster instead of fluid now i need to remove tank to clean it out, how hard it to remove the tank??
