Folks hit up your local dealer, a local campground you use regularly or frequent, your Wally World, your Camping World and any one who might give you a gift certificate or item/s we can put on the tables for a Raffle Prize or Door Prize to be given out during the Rally. If they have anything to do with your camping experiences, see if they would donate something to bring along to the Fall Rally. As Hook stated-- these Raffle and Door Prizes help pay for the Fall Rally. Thanks and see you in September!

We have a few door prizes we have gotten from local merchants and are bringing. If everyone would bring a raffle/door prize it would so help support this rally.

Please as many as can ask for raffle prizes. We had some at Mid Atlantic to step up to bring prizes and also sell raffle tickets. Yet we can use all the volunteers we can get. You can be a great help!!! Sign up here!!

Come on folks - let's get this thing rolling.
The raffle & Silent Auction are always a big hit on the last night. Anything - RV-related or not - will do. Wine, beer, crafts - you name it. We've had everything from cozies to Ice Makers, so lets not make this year any different.
Its also a good way to get to find out if your dealer REALLY supports you or not (or a good way to get back at him for a lousy deal  )! We (the coordinators) will try & mark everything with the donors name/business, so tell 'em its good advertising too.

Thanks Jim-- You beat me to it! The Fall Rally is supported in part(a large part) by raffle ticket sales and to get the raffle prizes the attendees are asked to stop by your dealer you purchased you unit from, a dealer you have your unit serviced at, businesses that have something to do with RVing such as a business you buy your camping supplies at or a businesses that you know of that might donate something for the Rally, or even something you would like to donate (new items only please) to help promote this Rally.
There is a also Daily Door Prize Drawing and usually a final door prize drawn the final night that is well worth attending the Rally.
The Daily Door prizes and the final night Raffle Prize give away are only possible if YOU AS ATTENDEES go out and "beat the bushes" for prizes to be given away at the Rally.
When you get something also ask for a business card or business flyer so we can thank them for their contribution. This is done by the individual receiving the prize. Last year we also posted the names of all contributors(businesses or individuals) that gave something to the Rally for a prize. Since I'm not the Raffle Prize or Door Prize Coordinator I don't know if this will be done or not this year but "Head'm out and bring'm in!"
UPDATE-- IF you go to a specific campground regularly why not ask them for a gift certificate for a couple night on them for the Raffle give away? Just another suggestion!
