LED Rope goes dim

2017 3790RD and the rope light under the awning starts out nice and bright. Then after a few minutes it get dim and doesn't provide and usefully light. If you shut if off it will come back on bright for a few seconds and then goes dim again. Is their a control or ballast type thing somewhere then can go bad?

No serviceable parts that I'm aware of. A typical 12 volt LED rope light is can be cut to length but it's components are encapsulated and can't be accessed. Here is an amazon stick on option. You can find the track style as well.
