New Verizon Data Plans

I just saw this on the Mobile Internet Resource Center website.

https://www.rvmobileinternet.com/ver..._Compatibility

I'm looking at switching from OTR (ATT) to Verizon. I've had OTR unlimited data for 2 years. Yesterday OTR cutoff my service. When I chatted with them I learned they were dropping the unlimited and moving to either a 150GB or 300GB plan.

Since Verizon is also offering 150GB at 5G speeds and cheaper than ATT, I'm looking at switching.

Those of you who use Verizon, do you have a MOFI router you'd recommend? Thanks

If you already have a NetGear or something on the AT&T, you should be able to just change the SIM card and continue with Verizon. If not, I would highly recommend the NetGear Nighthawk router. It works great for us and way cheaper than pepwave and others.

MY SIL got UNLIMITED data from Verizon for $10.00 month added to his current $70.00 plan. That is after a long time user discount ($60.00 ?) and a direct draft payment discount ($40.00?). In addition his phone can be a mobile hotspot

I heard adds within the last month that AT&T was dropping their limits on data and going to true unlimited to compete with T-Mobile. I don't know how that effects your gear though.

Maybe I need to visit my Version store. We have Verizon unlimited but after 15 gigs on each device it slows down.

Before settling on anything, please look at this thread and watch the attached video.

I have been extremely happy with this and have multiple laptops, computers, smart televisions, and iPads attached to the "router" and they all work absolutely great together at the same time. And, if you do not share your plan, it truly is "unlimited"....
