Post-2020 Model Year KeyTV-Dish Issues

Waiting on delivery of our 2021 3120 RL in April.

Have been a Winegard X2 portable Dish satellite/Wally owner for 4 years. I have not been beaten by a tree yet.

Lots of threads on the need to bypass the existing wiring and/or the recent KeyTV system in older models. But nothing on current 2021 models.

Has the functionality of the KeyTV system improved with the 2021's?

I have plenty of advice and ideas about how to overcome the issues-but would rather from someone that I don't need to start thinking about how to carve up a trailer that I don't even own yet...
