stabilus lift o mat

Hi I have a Montana 3701LK

My hydraulicRams for my stairs broke the ball link off, now I try to close the Rams they will not collapse, believe the stairs are made by EZ up, and anyone tell me a replacement for the hydraulic Rams? They are made by stabilus lift o mat.
I can't cross reference the numbers that are on the ram.

I believe the steps are made by Moryde. They are Step above I would contact Moryde to get for replacement parts. Not sure if there’s a warranty on them they may send you the parts, wouldn’t hurt to ask

There’s most likely nothing wrong with your rams. The ones on our steps are impossible for me to collapse when not installed. We have to remove our steps when at our seasonal site because we have a raised deck. Getting the rams reconnected is a bear. The last time I did it, I removed the stops on the stairs so that they could lean back just a little bit farther into the doorway to make it a hair easier. They have a huge amount of pressure inside them. Be very careful with them, they will bite you & HARD.

Mine broke under warranty. Stairs fell and struck me on the arm. Lucky I was not standing under it. Called MorRyde. They shipped replacement parts. Easy fix. Stairs must be up to install the struts so there is least amount of pressure.
If out of warranty I found these at NAPA auto parts store.
When I replace the stairs I will go with Glow Steps.
