Any time I'm ready to hook up, I manually retract the rear jacks (they all 4 retract together), then hit the L & R together to automatically bring the nose hack up the be at the level when unhooked.

You can raise or lower any jacks at any time without doing harm as they are all controlled by a common hydraulic system.

I also manually retract the rear jacks before I initiating the return to hitch height. Even after that, the majority of the time I will still have to tweak the height to hookup.

New 2020 Montana 3790RD that has a Auto Level that won't turn on at all?

Hello, new to this forum, I just bought a new Montana 3790RD. Everything worked fin when I bought it. Everything worked fine when I set it up. It's been a month and I went to turn on my auto leveling system just to check the leveling and it won't turn on at all. Any one know why? It's a Sunday so no one to call for help. Any one know what to do. I don't think it's the fuses, they all look fine. First thing I checked. Unless there are fuses somewhere else on this 5th wheel I don't know about. Please advise and help if you can.

Thank you

On some units there is an in-line fuse somewhere near the hydraulic pump assembly. Check the wiring in that area and see if you have one. I would also check connections on all the in-line circuit breaker in the battery compartment looking for loose connections.

thanks for your quick reply. All connections are good, all fuses by battery and leveling wiring look good. I noticed two fuses in there and both are perfect. Don't know what it could be.
