50 yrs of marriage celebrated edit 2/16
Tonight, Dennis and Sharon Mason were honored, among others, for their long and successful marriage. Several of us MOCers were in attendance. A very nice recognition of a job well done . Congratulations Dennis and Sharon! Many more! I apologize for missing Paul and Doris Snyder who were also honored. Congratulations and many more!

NICE!!! Congratulations! In your Valentine's day post you mentioned 49 years, but one day later it's 50. Time sure flies when you're in love.
On edit: oops, misunderstood your post, you were referring to another couple, but at 49 years and between both couples that's almost a century of marriage. That's just plain awesome.

I assume it was Dennis and Sharon that celebrated their 50th and a hearty congratulations is extended to them from somewhere in the snow buried hills and valleys of West Virginia if so! As I have mentioned on other congratulatory threads, it inspires Cathy and I to have examples such as this to validate that the institution of marriage is still going strong! It also inspires us that there are still couples out there who take their vows seriously, as we do. Thanks for being a fine example for us youngsters who have only been married half of the time of your wonderful achievement!!

Thanks to all for the nice compliments. Just goes you show what a wonderful wife Sharon is for putting up with me for all those years. Hopefully she'll keep me around for a few more. She would miss all the harassment. LOL
