Stinky, half-burnt propane smell

I think the smell comes from the refrigerator when it's running on propane (we had one 15-amp circuit). Any ideas how to investigate?

Perhaps it could when your road side tank is low to empty when the odorant that is added to propane is at its most concentrated?

Before the Montana, we had a 2550 Skamper travel trailer. For several camping seasons, we would have a rotten garbage smell under the kitchen sink, next to our propane heater. Finally, we took it to a repair facility and they found a faulty propane valve on the heater.
