Grey tank on 2011 3150RL

I'm thinking about buying the Montana 3150RL but can't determine if there are 2 grey water tanks that equal 93 gal or 1 large tank. If 2 tanks what are the capacities and how are they hooked up. Thanks.

The 3150RL has two gray water tanks. The 93 gal is divided by two on unit! Once you purchase the 3150 be sure to ask your saleman or dealer where each handle is for each tank! We'll see if they know where the Galley gray tank handle is! It's normally the first question from any new owner of a Montana! I think you'll like that 3150RL. We have some friends who own one and they love it!

We have a 2010 3150RL and there are 2 gray tanks, 1 for the shower/bathroom sink, the other for the galley. The pull handle for the galley is under the main slide mounted through the frame. If the slide is out, its really hard to reach.

I like keeping my tanks closed till they are almost full. So, I clamped a T handle of CPVC onto the pull handle, and connect a length of CPVC using a cotter pin through the T handle. Then I used a 3/4" pipe hanger, 12" long, screwed to the top of the slide frame. This hanger hangs down just enough to be below the slide skirt. So, I connect the length of CPVC through the hanger, then into the T with cotter pin, then extend the slide. Pull when gauge says 3/4 full, push when gauge says empty.

Ohhh you're gonna love the 3150RL (yes I am biased!). The 2 gray water handles aren't a problem at all. The one aft of the rear wheel is harder to get at with the slide open but I usually do not access it unless I'm dumping or setting up with full hookups. If I'm dumping, it's no problem reaching it as the slide is in. If I'm setting up with full hookups for an extended period of time I just have to remember to open it before I extend the slide. Definitely not a deal breaker one way or the other. The tanks can be operated independently of each other. Feel free to PM me with any questions you may have on the 3150RL.

We love ours too. Before our last trip, I took the advice of one of the members here (Sorry, don't remember who it was ) and bought on of those rods you use to pull down a manual awning. When I needed to dump that tank I just used the loop end to pull and push the t handle as needed to dump. It worked great.
