My Daughter-in-law

Today my daughter-in-law, Angie is headed to New York City. She was selected to be a perfect match through the Bone Marrow Registry for a 43 year old woman who has Leukemia. The procedure is to take place tomorrow morning. Prayers would be appreciated that all goes well for her and especially the recipient. She is very motivated and happy to have this opportunity to make a huge difference in another person's life. Angie is mom to little Will, who now is doing great!

Thanks, Nita

Prayers all the way around Nita. No wonder Will is doing so good, coming from the great family he has.

Bless her heart. What a fantastic gift! We will pray for her and her recipient.

Sometimes you don't have to look skyward to see Angels.

Wow, I'm impressed. What a sacrifice for someone you don't know. I've been told this is a tough procedure. Prayers going up from Texas.

Prayers that all goes well. She is a jewel!

My son is waiting for his call. Someday, maybe.

Al and Nita,
What a fantastic DIL you have. What a great thing she is doing. I know you are probably getting tired of hearing this sort of thing!

Thanks everyone for your kind words, thoughts and prayers! I just talked to my son and he says everything went well, but was a long ordeal and Angie, though very tired is fine. They are heading back home (3 1/2 hr.) drive. After a year, if all goes well for the recipient, she may get to meet her at a special reception they have for donors and recipients.

Angels don't always have wings. Some go to New York and are named Angie.
