Lack of Participation

Hello friends,
I feel I need to appologize for my lack of participation lately. There are several posts I need to (and will) respond to regarding tires, I just haven't been very focused the last couple of months.
My mother has been struggling with COPD for several years and in July we had to place her in a nursing home after a 7 day hospital stay. On Saturday she had a mini stroke and had to be hospitalized again. While there she had several more mini strokes and on Wednesday she passed away.
When things settle down a bit I will get back to being an active member of this forum. Thank you all.

Lonnie,
I can feel you pain because I went though similar with my Father last year and this spring. Remember she is in a better place and not suffering.
Remember the good times and let the emotions flow.
Our sympathy and prays to you and your family.

Lonnie, our deepest sympathies to you and your family. Your story is familiar to my wife and I as well, even though the cause was different. The anguish and eventual loss is very tough and can test our love, faith and resolve. Fortunately it's also what can get you through it.

We have missed your postings but we can now certainly understand why and we appreciate you sharing your personal story. With deepest condolences, we hope you and your family achieve solace soon and we'll hear from you soon enough.

Take care.

Our sympathies to you Lonnie and your family in the loss of your Mom. It was interesting in your post that you felt an apology was necessary for your absence. Truly remarkable on your part. Return when you can.

Lonnie,
No apologies are necessary in situations such as this. Family must always come first. We are sorry your mom has passed away and our thoughts are with you and your family.

Come back to your MOC 'family' when you are ready. We have missed you and thank you for letting us know what has been happening.
