Lippert Levelup oil drip

I didn't use the word leak, because I can't detect any evidence of a leak, but I see these drops forming on some part of the LCI equipment. I have no idea what the picture is of.

I emailed the picture to LCI and they said, "I would advise to check the caps on the pump and make sure they are tightly secured. Also check to make sure all fittings are tight also."

I see fittings on all the hose related connections, but not sure where the caps are on the pump. Any ideas would be appreciated. If this is just a simple tightening of a connection, I don't want to drag the Monty to a dealer to find that out.

I had a slow drip on curbside center Jack. I took it to Lippert before the rally. They found a bad o-ring on one of the fittings. They replaced it and the 30 amp breaker on the pump with a 80 amp

No wait, I'm being a smart donkey for all the folks who said this was a bad idea and shouldn't be done. I'll be changing mine as soon as the weather gets warm again (that is next spring!).

Just keep checking to see if you can spot where that drip comes from. I had a small drip on the center jack, curb side. Turned out to be just a loose hose fitting, tighten and no for drip.

The picture you posted shows a portion of one of the two aluminum distribution blocks in the hydraulic system. The pictured one has 5 hoses connected to it and one terminated end(likely for pressure testing), as well it has the 3 (pictured) 12V solenoids that are part of that block. On the pictured one you therefore have a minimum of 9 potential sources of a leak.

The second aluminum block has 6 hose connections and 1 12V solenoid so has a minimum of 7 potential sources that could leak.

There are only 2 hoses to the pump itself, so only 2 likely sources of leak at the pump.

I would be very careful tightening the solenoids and even the hose ends and connections to the blocks, the fittings that actually screw into the block have O rings on them, the aluminum can be easily stripped if overtightened.

If you are seeing oil at the bottom of any of the three 12V solenoids in your picture the leak may be associated with their connection to the block, or the small amount of oil could be transferring down from one of the fittings above them.

I don't know why some jumped on the "change the circuit breaker bandwagon" since you never indicated a problem with the pump stopping during use, and which has nothing to do with your concern of a leak.

I would make sure all areas are wiped clean and dry, operate the hydraulics and try to source the leak before messing with every fitting.

I could be looking wrong, but don't expect the 3 black plastic caps to do anything but hold the electric solenoids on to the valve stem. Once the black plastic caps are unscrewed and the solenoids slipped off, you'll see a hex head on the valve solenoid stem itself, that's what you put a wrench on. There are orings under the valve solenoid ... one or more may have failed. Like said ... look for something seeping above the 3 valves and running down on them first.
Thinking further ... instead of a hex head on the valve stem ... there may be an allen head in the very end of each valve solenoid.

I'm an old aircraft tech and owned tow tucks , hydraulic , so I might be able to spot the problem . Hope I'll get some help from you young whipper snappers when I'm too old.

I have had three of my landing gear replaced. Each time I noticed the landing "foot" had fluid on it. All three covered by GoodSam. It was as if they knew about the issue. No attempt to replace seals, just shipped new unit.
