Size of desk drawers
Has anyone found a way to hang file folders in the narrow drawers of a 3400RL desk? If not, what do you do with the drawers to store stuff?

Seems like you can get one of the metal hanging racks, turn it lengthwise and I think the folders fit. Been a couple of years since we had the 3400 but I was thinking we had thought about doing that, then decided that there was no reason for us as weekenders and vacationers to worry about taking files with us. A quick measurement will tell whether it will work??

As Bingo stated, with our 07 3400 we used a free standing file rack. The rack was set in the drawer side ways, worked well for us.

I think this is important for full-timers. For us Some-timers, not so much. This topic sure gets the brain thinking about something that can be easily not considered.
I hope hanging them sideways helps. My desk does have two drawers that can hang files sideways but hopefully one would be enough so the other can be used for other stuff.
The best thing to do when Full-timing is learn how to live lean and mean, or scan all the documents so they can be stored electronically (but then you need a good scanner, too). I can sure see that some things need to be in paper form for better availability. Again, great topic!
