Only one thing - if someone slashes your tire don't tell them it was vandalism. That is not covered. Found out the hard way.

Just got GS ERS today. $79.99 seemed like a good deal. Had it before and had my motorcycle towed. Great response.

We have the platium service and had to use them in 2009 between Grand Junction, Co and Green River, Ut. Had a problem with them wanting to send someone out of Salt Lake to tow our unit when it over heated. Bad part was phone service not much out there with verizon. We did get the truck started and started back for GJ when we blew a tire on the Monty. We called a friend in GJ and had a service truck respond to change the tire.
The service truck from Salt Lake was canceled when I walked about 3/4 mile to a rest stop to call Good Sam.
Most of the problem was lack of phone service in that area.

We have had Good Sam ERS for five years - used them three times - always excellent service. All three times were out of my home state.

Update to my post from a year ago; we now have the standard GS plan. I reviewed the differences, and discovered that the only deviations between the two plans were with the Platinum plan, it covers you if you are in a "rented" or "borrowed" vehicle. Standard plan only covers vehicles you own. Otherwise they are virtually identical. Also, the CW plan has now merged with the GS plan, and it's all one and the same. I renewed through CW, as they were giving a "presidents special" rate and it saved me around $25.

I have had GS road side for several years-I once had to be towed about 60 miles, dropped the trailer at a campground and took the truck to repair shop.I have had to use them for flats 2-3 times always came thru, sometimes a long wait.Nothing negative for me.

we have had I think all of them over the years and after the 1st year new member teaser rate they all cost near the same. We had good service from all of them. A good check is to ask a couple of tow companies in your area which service they prefer to deal with as most of the road service companies use the same tow services... We changed to Coach net a couple of years ago.
