Streaking

What is the best product to get rid of the streaking down the sides of the RV?

P.S. Little or no work involved. :LOL

Wow, I was afraid to look in this thread, afraid of what I might see if pictures were posted!!! I have used awesome and simple green in the past on our rig that was not gel-coated. Haven't used anything yet on the new rig.

For years I've used Simple Green on our previous TT's when starting out in the spring, and now I use it on the Montana. I have a plastic spray bottle that I use fully concentrated without any water added at all. I spray and then either wipe off immediately with a soft towel or paper towel....when the towel starts leaving streaks, I pull out a clean one and continue on. I have done the whole trailer by hand this way and it really sparkles and shines. Then, when I get this year's later-on streaks, I add a little Simple Green to a 5 gallon bucket 3/4 full of water and gently use a long-handled soft brush to do a quick wash and rinse of the whole Monty. It's the cheapest and easiest way I've found.

Awesome! I use it full strength. For those who are unfamiliar with Awesome, it is available in many dollar stores. I usually buy a dozen or so bottles at a time and put a bottle or two in a bucket. Brush it on and rinse it off. When all black marks are removed, only then do I wash the unit. The only thing is, the Awesome is so strong, I think you will find it removes wax. I also found that diluted Awesome has not been effective for me. FWIW,and IMHO Awesome works better than so called "Black Streak Remover"

Bingo,
I started heading in the same direction as you. I thought this was a new campground activity.

For 15 years I've been using the Camco black streak remover you can get at Wal Mart. Does a great job.

Two products. The best cleaner-will work on just about everything and it is SAFE! Simple Clean is the name of it and you can get it through the internet. It is incredible.

The other is WD40.

Simple clean is expensive until you dilute - approximately (10 water to 1 SC) it as per the instructions. It is a great stain remover. Those with dogs and carpet will love it. The guy on the video has a few screws loose but it works.
