Screwy Slideout

Traveling across Texas and put our slides out when setting up camp. Double slide (dining table and couch) went out and so did my vinyl and carpet. A screw in the exterior corner base of the slide had worked down about 3/4 inch and snagged both. Not a pretty sight. DW not happy. Neither was I. Anybody have a similar issue.

Sorry to hear of the slide problem. As new as your unit is I would be contacting my dealer if it were me. Welcome to the forum.

First time I've heard of this particular type problem. I'm with Bill on this one. Get it into your dealer. Let us know what happens.

Thanks,
Dennis

Sounds more like a "unscrewy" slide out. That is a mess on an older rig let alone a new one. Dang it.

My Mountaineer had a problem when the previous owner had it. A screw had worked its way down and scraped the floor when the slide went out. This doesn't seem like it would be difficult to prevent.
