Truck height 2006 GMC K3500
We just purchased a 2006 GMC K3500 CC LB D/A,it has the factory 2 inch body lift. Will I have to flip the axles.Anybody have the same setup.

Probably not. You should find enough extra mounting holes in your kingpin box to adjust the kingpin height instead of the entire trailer. When I traded up from a F-250 2WD to a F-350 lifted 4WD, I was able to adjust the kingpin height. Caution, make sure you have help, the box is heavy and awkward to handle. I would also check with Lippert to make sure you get the correct torque values for the bols.

You may also have some room for height adjustment of the fifthwheel hitch in the bed of your truck.

Thanks,I am going to my 5th wheel tomorrow and check it out.I still have to install the hitch in the truck.

There is no such thing as a 2" factory body lift. If the body has been lifted, it was done after it left the factory.

My truck was too high in the backend from the factory. I ordered and changed out the rear spring hangers to get it 2 inches lower. It looks better and tows level now. The fifth wheel didn't even budge it downward when I sat it on it. Neither does my current camper.

I can see where this is confusing. In order to have clearance for the Allison transmission, GM does (or least did) use spacers under the cab of the truck. All trucks with that transmission have it, 2500 and 3500 alike.
However it is not like an aftermarket lift that replaces the body mounts (including the bed on the aftermarket kits), in that it can not be removed, again due to the clearance problems. Hope this helps!
As pointed out you can adjust the pin box or the hitch if needed, but since every truck with the Allison is set up the same and it hasn't been a reported issue with any of them, you should be fine.
