Edenpure heaters

Has anyone tried the Edenpure heaters? They are expensive but suppose to be a good heater. We were thinking about getting one for the stick house, probably to much heater for the Monty. Any comments are appreciated good or bad.

Thanks

I looked into these about a year ago and was convinced they were overkill in the Montana and just use a 1500 watt Vornado, usually in the mornings only as we are following the sun......

I bought one of those, sent it back within two weeks. Way over rated, didn't heat well at all and was way noisey. The place where I shipped from said they had already shipped three back the same week. I live in a small town.

I bought one for my father who lives in a mobile home and it is working great so far. It warms his whole place and is pretty quiet when compared to a ceramic heater for example. Time will tell how it works in the colder weather to come and how much the electricity will cost but I am convinced it will be cheaper for him than the oil prices around here. I was in his home watching the Red Sox beat the Rays (game 6) with the temps in the 30's and it was quite toasty. Not a drop of oil burned while I was there.

Thanks for the info, I have heard as many bad as good reviews on this heater. I think I am going to wait about ordering one. We can pay for some extra gas for the price of the heater.

thanks again

Sorry Pete Hanson but Sox will not be going to World Series. My Tampa Bay Rays pitched themselves outta game 7. Maybe next year. A real TB Ray fan who use to live in St. Pete and still don't like "inside" baseball!!!! Dennis
