Are you also over the Truck's GVWR?... we bought the dually..Had a 3500 Ram, traded in for another Ram 3500 Dually. Dealer gave us full KBB trade in and a great buy on the one we bought. We went from A Laramie to a Laramie Longhorn..Our selling dealer wanted to give us half of what we paid a year prior..Dealer was in Nampa Idaho..our payment went up about very little..We paid 62 in 17... Today the trucks resale is 3500 more.... what is that?

The average amount off msrp for those Idaho dealers a while back was $12,500. These days they are nowhere near that. As such, the amount for trade ins is higher. They will get you on one end or another.

Thanks for posting this. We've got a CAT scale not far from us now. This will simplify stopping in and weighing my rig.

Here is another Cat Scale, truck only and truck and 5th loaded leaving Ca. I’m going to adjust my BW Companion to add more weight to the front axial before we leave Fort Smith AR. As I have it now all the weight is over the rear axial from the pin. Glad I have a DRW

The notes on the side is added weight from when we left to CA so we gained some weight, got a little fatter lol.

We basically have the same trailer. What the heck is in yours to make it so heavy? I thought mine was loaded but not even close to going over the trailer's gvwr. Yours would squish my 3500.

We looked for over 2 years to find a 3500, longbed dually, aisin, autolevel 4:10s in a longhorn... i think we did okay.. especially since the kbb value is 3000 more than we paid 4 years ago..

Lol, Well my axles are good on the 5th, truck axles are good, pin is under under the max rating. But the total on the truck is over by 180lbs. Ops

Our panty is full, basement is full and I had a full water tank, frig was full, and we have lots of wife stuff in this 5th.

What I should have said is those + numbers are really a -number , if you deduct those numbers that’s what we were when we left AL to Ca. This ticket was when we left Ca to Fort Smith AR.

Well after being fully loaded.....dog, wife, beer, scooters, e-bikes, clothes, food, I am 730 lbs. over my trucks GVWR. My weight over my rear axle is 338 lbs. over my allowed cargo weight of 3,182 lbs. Total weight of my Montana fully loaded came in at 15,160 lbs.

So I looked at what the GVWR of a 2021 Chevy 3500 SRW is, and I would have made it by 20 lbs. Now I see how a dually can come into the picture very quickly.

My calcs show 420 lbs. over on the rear axle based upon door sticker of 6600 and scale at 7020. Then again, I have a public education and didn't finish at that
