Inverter size

Just bought an air compressor which I will carry with us. If I need it when no 110 power is available (think low tire while traveling), what size portable inverter will run it?

Check the manual to see how many watts it runs on. This will tell you the size of inverter (watts) you need to run it.

What Daryles said, but also look for start up draw..Kind of like an A/C unit needs more just to start it, but runs on a lot less.. my quarters worth
