Hey CaptnJohn
I agree traffic is pretty congested. We seldom leave the campground maybe go out once a week if that.
Our favorite RV resort is Willow Tree RV Resort. The sites are spacious and the staff are friendly. Located off the beaten path yet it is close to everything. Might want to check it out sometime if you haven’t already

Hi Frank. That CG is 25 minutes from our home in Ocean Isle Beach. We have stayed there when breaking in a new unit and beside friends that come to the area. We go south for the winter but I hear it is full then. I heard the new CG on the south end of Longs is nice but have not checked it out yet, may ride through one day. To beat most of the traffic for restaurants go the other way to NC, little traffic. PM me for a few suggestions.

Welcome from NY and enjoy that really great floor plan. We have the 3731FL, very much the same but towing from the other end.

We love traveling to SC. Our daughter is in Charleston and we love it there. We also looked at Aiken as it was halfway between Charleston and our other daughter in GA. We spend the winter between the two with maybe a month down to FL. We are quite comfy in our space for the 6 months we are south.

Life is Good.

We have been to Charleston a few times. Very nice. We have a daughter in Greenville SC where we go about every 2-3 months for a weekend visit.
We might go to the keys this fall or early next spring ( trying to workout details) with my sister and her husband. We are looking forward to that trip

Safe travels
