We live in Amish Country, Lancaster County, PA. We just purchased a 2017 305RL. I can't wait to take delivery. My husband is retired, and I anxiously await 11/2020 for my big R day. Just praying to be alive, and as healthy as possible when that time finally arrives. We have 3 children, and 6 grand-daughters, and want time to enjoy them.

On a side note, hoping someone can tell me what the king sixe mattress measurements are. I want to start some mattress replacement research, but forgot to get the measurements. That hard mattress is the only bad thing I can think of about the unit. Thanks in advance for feedback!

Looking forward to being a part of the club!

Welcome to our group. What we did was just purchase a 3 inch gel foam (queen). Haven't tried it yet so can't give an opinion. Many have changed out their mattresses so I imagine you will get some replies here.
Safe travels from your beautiful part of the country where you live.

We kept the mattress and added a 3” memory foam topper.
Need deep pocket sheets, very comfortable.

A king came on both of our last 2 5ers. Went for a while with a topper on the 1st one. My wife always complained about how tight it was walking around and especially when changing bedding even when I helped. So,,,, we bought a queen mattress and I cut the platform down. Moved it to the new 5er before it left the lot.

we have the same 5er - agreed on tight spaces but at least I don't get lost … we had a spare king mattress, just had to move the small side table up a bit to make it slide in easy. DW & I can't hack a queen size - she says I roast her

Welcome to the forum! A standard mattress should fit it, but in both our Montanas we wanted a bigger bedroom so we cut down the plywood under the mattress and went to a queen. You won't believe how big the bedroom is now.
