COUCH
Divan help
Please help we a 2008 3075 with the air bed. The storage drawer under the divan will not stay shut while we are traveling. How can we keep the drawer close. Is there a catch or lock that we have missed?
Thanks
Don & Laura

We have trouble with ours too. We stuff a small pillow under it, but it still comes open some. I am trying to think about how to lock it without it being ugly.

I have been using a velcro strap looped over the metal bar and extended over the front of the drawer and stuck to the fabric. This works most of the time.
It would probably be better if a magnetic catch or the tension type catch were glued to the metal cross bar bottom and the other half of the catch attached to the back of the drawer front. JB

We noticed the same thing when we brought our 3400RL home the first time. When I closed the drawer, I noticed a resistance and found that the air mattress was the problem. Now we make sure that their is nothing behind the drawer when we close it and it's OK. When we did the PDI at the dealer there was a strap that was tucked behind the couch and no one could tell us what it was for. Maybe that was part of the solution.

Well just like the last 3 5th wheels we are giving our couch(air bed) and upgraded leather chairs to Goodwill and write it off on our taxes. We have on order a Love seat from Lazy call recline-away and a Lazy Boy recline-away chair. We have found no RV funiture thats very comfortable in any way. And the chairs are so heavy, not to mention the Air bed couch. We are just waiting on a call from the dealership for the cost of replancement. You wouldn't believe what the cost to replace the couch in the Cambridge, would you believe $1,500 and that was just the basic and the quote was from Keystone. However we haven't had the problem of the Couch comming open, but it brand new? I would suggest Velcro strap. GBY....

The "strap behind the couch" pulls through the back of the sofa to strap the coffee table down on top of the sofa when traveling. We didn't have a problem with the drawer sliding out at first but after using the air bed, now we do, so I will have to check to see if the air mattress is in the way of the drawer closing all the way.
