MOC Shines again!!

One of the electrical guys on here I don't remember who "oldtimers I guess" suggested I change my kitchen lite fixture that I have been having trouble with overheating and killing the bulbs to a 110v res fixture. I went to HD today and found a 3 bulb one that is ant brass and looks great and matches the rest for under 25$. Got 3 50watt 12v bulbs at CW for 2.50 each now all I have to do is change it out tomorrow. Thanks guys this place is great!!!

Post a picture when you are done. I have been thinking about doing that myself because I have the same problem.

X 2 on the picture of the fixture,
Did you get the 12 volt lights from a boat shop or the internet? most RV stores sell them for too much money.

who you callin' old ???? Yep the bulbs ain't cheap from cw, but you can get them a bit cheaper elsewhere....mine haven't had a burn-out yet in a year, so not bad in my mind. Just make sure your wiring/fuse on that circuit can handle the bulb wattage please.

Picked up new 3400 first week in January and headed to Tucson. I have changed the bulbs twice in a month in those two drop down fixtures over the kitchen sink. Replaced with 1076 bulbs (same as from the factory I think) from CW and they blow too. Is this the same ones you guys have?

Thanks guys I put it up today looks good DW likes it better than the old one which is good for me LOl.
dennis I will try and get a pic tomorrow.
Bill I cked the watts and the 3 bulbs pull 1.25amps together should be fine but I will keep a ck on it for awhile. I cked at my dealer he wanted like 3.29each my sil was at CW getting a new awning so I got him to pick me up 4 for about 9$. Since he was there I lucked out it is about 65 miles to MB from here.
Bobby I changed my 1076s to 1004s to try to help with the heat less lite and less heat. someone on here told me about the 1004s imagine that. lol. But I like the light in the kitchen for the DW when cooking and this light is great.

Thanks jack that is one of the reasons I love this montana all you have to do is clear coat oak and it matches perfect. I saw that last summer in tn when I replaced the ceiling strips you can see it the same pic. they look like they came in it.
