October 9 to 13 - Anyone Interested ?
We are currently here, very nice campground. I asked if they could handle a small rally, and they said the second week of October would work for them. So let me know if you are interested, the leaves should be beautiful that time of the year.

This is a nice little park. The owner took us around and showed us everything. They are super friendly people and we enjoyed getting to know them. Up the hill there's a pond with an outdoor kitchen and eating deck. At the campground there's an outdoor kitchen, a covered gazebo with fireplace and TV, and a creek that runs through the campground. Saturday night we had a get-together with others in the campground. They served wood cooked pork sandwiches (cooked there), coleslaw, corn on the cob and watermelon for $5 per person. Gary said that if we're interested and can get a few people he can do two dinners and a breakfast (served on the upper pond with the sun coming in over the pond) for $35 per couple. There's also a laundry building and a bathroom. There are concrete patios on most if not all of the sites (I don't remember if at all). There are lakes, rivers and waterfalls in the area. It's not an 'official' rally, but come on, make your plans and join us for a beautiful fall weekend in the mountains enjoying the colors of the leaves and the company of other MOCers.

If we can, we'll make it. Vickie's work situation is still up in the air.

One of the dinners would be steak, and the other would be hamburgers.
I helped serve the pork last Saturday, we had lots of fun:

Sounds like a great place for a rally. We already have reservations with friends, otherwise we would have been interested. Have a great time.
