Furnace

Is the furnace run on propane only or electric & propane.
The propane tanks ran out this am and the air ran cool for about 5 minutes before it shut down.

I read the Suburban manual, but it did not answer my questions.
I eventually figured out it was the propane, but I thought a 50 amp service would still run the furnace.

Am I Wong about the furnace being powered by electric?

The fan and ignitor are electronic but the heat is from propane.

BTW- the electric is 12 volt and not 110

Glenn, thank you for the flag etiquette on Memorial Day. We don't have a flagpole, but if we ever need to raise the flag on Memorial Day, now I know how. Bob's dad was a WW II marine and flag etiquette was very important to him.

Glenn & Lorraine, thanks for the response.
Another good point you made was that I have to be thinking in terms of 110 as well as 12V.
When I bought my unit I had put together a small chart on what ran on propane vs 12V vs 110.
I was told the furnace ran on 110, but when it shut down and I thought about it, it just didn't seem to make sense that it fired on both sources.
