Dometic 320 seal replacement
Has anyone replaced the seal in their dometic 320. It looks like an easy fix but amazon has a full range of prices.I want the best.

I ordered the seal with the Dometic part number from Amazon, not an off brand. I've not had to replace mine yet, but there is a video on YouTube on how to do it.

The seal is pretty sturdy and normally doesn't need to be replaced. You just have to remove it, clean up the gunk on the bottom and re-install. I do it about once a year and after 5 years I am still on the original seal.
To remove, turn off the water (obviously), hold down the pedal, reach under the seal and pull it up.
Replacing it is even easier. Leave the pedal closed as it keeps the seal from going where you don't want to go. Push the seal down so it engages the ring and is centered in the opening. Turn on the water and add water to the bowl. You should be golden.

Our 320 stopped holding water in the bowl. I took the seal out a couple of times and cleaned and lubed it but still wouldn't hold water. After ordering new Kohree 385311658 (2 pack) seals from Amazon and receiving them I realized that our original seal had become stiff and the surface that touches the ball was delaminating for some reason. Popped in the new seal without any lube about a month ago like Carl describes and it's worked perfectly ever since.

Also make sure the is clean ( no build up ) If any seals on mine I replace all of them I don't want to pull it apart again a few weeks later.
