Wow, the $2.77 finally beats us. We are "down" to $2.59 for diesel but saw regular creeping up today. It was $2.29 at Costco but $2.49 at Shell just down the road. I guess the prediction of regular and diesel eventually being the same price is true.

$2.24 Diesel but gasoline is catching up, 2.13 regular, 2.24 mid grade, 2.34 hi-test.
Diesel was 20 to 30 cents higher than hi-test. First time this winter that gasoline was this close in price.

Los Angeles Harbor, less than a mile from the refinery, $2.79!! What I can't understand is why diesel is so much more expensive than gasoline now. It comes out of the "food chain" sooner, requires less refining. I love my Duramax, but when I go to the pump I wish I had the 8.1.

Just topped off the tank in Inverness, FL super WalMart $2.35/ gal for diesel. Will start heading north on Friday,. Hope these prices soone settle down. Hard to predict the cost of travel with the vast fluxuation.

Today in Mt. Shasta CA regular unleaded is finally again priced higher than diesel at 2.759 per gallon. Diesel is $2.699. Now the scary news. Local Union 76 operator says they expect prices to rise approximately 10 cents per gallon per week now through Memorial Day weekend, then decline. Decline? Yeah, right!
Hope this won't scare off our campout participants.

Won't scare us off. It looks like our prices are about the same, though our diesel prices are still higher than regular, which is at $2.53 as of yesterday. Diesel is about $2.65. Both continue to climb daily. The average price of gas in Oregon is listed as much lower. I guess we get the "California effect" here.

today Along I80 between Omaha and Grand Island, NE diesel was 2.25 and 2.29 regular 2.12 to 2.23.

Friday, 4/8, I saw diesel at 2.199 in Pigeon Forge, TN. Sounds like a bargain compared to what you all are reporting. Sure it is. What a rip. Heating oil use increased and we were told that caused part of the increase. Surely heating oil usage is declining now. So where's the diesel decrease?
