Suspect the gear drive is stripped, quite a common problem with the BAL system and yes they know about the issues but haven't sourced the gear drive from a better supplier so the one you replace will eventually fail as well. Cheap white metal gears that strip. In the interim you can have someone shove it out while someone holds the button. Most fail going out not in and thus you can usually bring it back in with no issue. Don't be surprized if it ends up being back ordered. BTW ensure you mark the chains and sprockets and the adjustment screws when you pull them off so you don't mess up alignment when replacing the gearbox drive..... otherwise not a difficult job to replace. I carry a spare now.
