Voltage Meter Install

I wanted an easy way to check the battery voltage when on the road. When thinking it through, at first thought near converter would be easy but decided easier access would be in the port side LP tank compartment. Near battery connections, no key needed to check, and near my TPMS repeater. The repeater was mounted above the batteries and array of relays so it would have a straight shot from the tire monitors to the truck.

There was a large 1"+ hole above the LP tank that was convenient for the meter. I also wanted to add switches to power off the repeater and meter. I poked around AMZN for the meter to find one that would fit the hole and found switches also. I had to add some conduit washers to make the meter fit. I was able to tap off a lug of one of the 40amp breakers.

The control panel screen for your LCI leveling system has a voltmeter built in. Just power up the system and scroll up to it (^).

I factored that in when I decided to have access to vdc more convenient. Leave switch on when on road. Open LP compartment door. Look. The LCI vdc was like using a mouse to click 4x instead of a quick single hot key in MegaStar ;~]

Besides, it was a warm day and I needed a quick project to get me out of the house. Can't wait to add disc brakes........

I was planning on adding the switch for the repeater so adding the meter and one other switch did not add much to the project.
