You know it's hot when
9:30 at night and it's so hot that the motion light above our entry door won't pick you up until your about 8 feet away. Normally it will see you up to 20 feet away. Had that happen and then thought I'd start this thread and see what others are experiencing.

One summer we camped in a national park (Mammoth Caves) without any electric. We didn’t have A/C, wasn’t allowed a gen past 10 I think; of course back in those days we didn’t even think of having a generator. It remained in the 90° range at night if I remember correctly. Definitely a time to remember and reminisce about.

Hot is when it's 115 during the day and at 10pm the thermometer is still reading 100+. I thank God we have AC, otherwise it would be a motel until it gets fixed..... Casa Grande, AZ

Yup, you guys know what hot is all about. That's why we won't arrive north of Yuma until the end of Oct and will leave the first of April. I would be willing to trade you our humidity, however.

We're in New Jersey and it's been in the 90's. Ugh! The AC runs all day/all night - and we even have a few trees! We keep heading north tomorrow - gotta cool off!!

Good luck with that, it's in the 90's in Boston, too.

Go ahead and rub it in Tammy and Bernie! Oh to be back up there at the present time. Of course it could be a fast trip back to Nebraska to make the Central Plains Rally if we were actually up there. It's 11:30 PM here and it's still in the upper 80's. Truck thermometer read 116 on it when I got in it after being in the Mall for an hour or so this afternoon. We had rain last night and that's why it was so hot today. The humidity was so high you could almost cut it with a knife!
