ON THE MOVE
Sold the house and started full timing on May 16th. Went from the south end of town to the north (USI RV PARK,Wichita,Ks), hooked the monty up to water for the first time and luckily had the storage doors open as water was pouring into the storage compartment(found loose fittings to the bathtub fawcets). Spent (5) days here, then to Bears Den at Grand Lake,Okla for (7) days, then to Rutlader RV just south of Louisburg,Ks for (5) days, then back to USI in Wichita (added another A/C in bedroom), will be here till June 14th, then head for western Colo (Delta)and then work are way to Keystone, SD for the Sturgis motorcycle rally in Aug. Hope to see ya on the road. Kenny & Virginia

Congratulations on your new adventure. The world awaits you and your Monty. By the way, we had the very same problem with the loose connections, but ours burst open at 4:30 AM on a Memorial Day weekend. Fortunately Glen heard it and turned off the water before we had any serious damage. When we had it repaired the service center counted 56 (fifth six) loose connections. They'd never seen anything like it. Now, if we remember to do it, we will turn off the water at the campground connection before we leave for a long day. Just in case.
Welcome to the forum!

Congratulations, Kenny and Virginia! I hope you enjoy your fulltiming as much as we enjoy ours. I lived in Wichita back in the 50's. I went to Will Rogers Elementary, kindegarten through mid-second grade, then Harry Street School, 2nd through mid-fifth grade, then we moved out of town. We last lived on Zimmerley, last house to the river.
Enjoy the Montana and the fulltiming! We recently were told at the factory they've slowed down the number of units per day and increased the number of days they build Montanas. That should help those kind of quality problems. We hope, anyhow.
