Battery wiring

I recently purchased a 2003 Montana 5th wheel. I think it has 2 jack Motors because the Jack's mover REALLY fast. Like 3 to 4 inches in 10 seconds. Anyway, the battery wiring confuses me and I hope someone can help. There is a lead acid non sealed battery and two Duracell agm batteries. The two Duracell are wired in parallel and then run to the negative on the lead acid. However!, non of the wires run to the positive on the lead acid. I am going to try to attach a picture.

The picture only shows one of the Duracell batteries, but the two are just neg to neg and pos to pos.

So with no positive wire on the lead acid battery, it is not being used at all. I assume that one of the wires on the negative terminal go to the chassis ground. And i assume that the positive wires on the agm batteries go to various connections for the trailer. My guess is that the former owner was not able to remove the lead acid battery for some reason. Without being there to really look around, this is the only conclusion i can come to.

I agree with above. That battery is doing nothing but taking up space and adding weight. Kept as a backup maybe?? May be dead if it hasn’t been charged in a long time.
