I went with a manual reset 80 amp, mostly due to availability at the time. I've never had it trip and need resetting though.

Looking at your first pic (screen shot below) - follow the red lead from the battery (which is visible at the bottom of the pic) to the right...This is the first breaker in the red lines that feed the hydraulic pump. You need to replace the red plastic cap resetting 50 amp breaker on the right. Pull the red cover back and take a pic of the wires. Install your new 80 amp there arranging the wire connections the same.

I bought the same breaker from amazon as RMcNeal.

We were having the problem with the too small breaker quite soon after buying our current rig, and of course, shortly after the one year warranty was over, Lippert issued a fix for the breaker tripping. This was about eight years ago, and I was able to find a manual reset breaker on Ebay, and since then, haven't had a problem with the nuisance tripping. I am pretty sure, as long as your wiring from the battery to the hydraulic pump motor is at least #4 strand copper, either an auto-reset or a manual reset breaker will work equally fine. The current LIP SHEET 0058 actually shows a photo of an auto-reset breaker in the documant.

I ordered my breaker from the link you attached. Thanks, now just waiting for it to arrive. I'm sure that will fix my problem as well. Thanks for all for the help.

I had the same issue with the pump for the level up timing out
After charging the batteries (per lipparts suggestion) equalizing them then putting everything back together I now have no power off the batteries.
The 50. Amp fuse failed completely pulled it out tested with a ohmmeter and it was stuck open. I made sure it was cool and hadn’t reset. Then being curious I wanted to look inside. I started to cut the side off it and heard metal so I stoped. Pryed off the rest and could see the contacts were ok. Retested the breaker and it worked properly. I think for some reason it was stuck open not allowing power to get through.
I will be replacing the breaker with an 80amp model per other posts. The cable gauge can handle the increase breaker rating.
Just wanted to share my strange story.
I’m sure I’ll be back with another problem lol
Good luck to all happy traveling
